We finish for Christmas with a social night on Wednesday 20th December from 7pm
Classes begin in the New Year on Tuesday 16th January 2024 and a New Beginners Class starts on 18th January.

Our Halloween Dance 2023.
Thanks everyone for coming along to our "Spooktacular" Halloween Dance in your fabulous costumes. Here's a sneaky peek of the fun we all had.
READY TO DANCE?
It's been lovely seeing everyone back enjoying their classes and finding their dance feet again. For your safety and comfort class numbers remain at a level to avoid overcrowding.
Lots of wonderful dances are taught in a relaxed social setting including Waltz, Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, Quickstep, Jive, Foxtrot, Samba, Salsa and Tango, as well as many of the most popular sequence dances. A "Latin Line" solo class is also in the schedule for those of you who don't have a dance partner.
Whether you're a regular, haven't danced for a long time or are a complete beginner there will be a class for you. Just ring Linda to have a chat and find the best class for you.
There has never been a better time to start something new. Did you know that dancing is one of the very best ways of exercising? It improves cadio fitness, and is also amazing for your mental health. Learning steps works your memory and losing yourself in the beautiful music is soothing and food for the soul. If that isn't enough the social element of dancing is another reason why lots of people join classes and make lifelong friendships.
Classes are for adults of all ages, abilities and sexual orientation.

Our last event of the year is our Christmas Dance on Saturday 2nd December.
Watch this space for dates in 2024.
Places at events are prioritised to those who come to classes Subject to numbers these events are also open to your friends and family and social dancers who would also like to come along for the evening.
All events should be booked and paid for in advance.

- Any sessions missed by you will not be refunded or carried forwards.

ABOUT DANCING WITH LINDA
Let me introduce myself. I am Linda Coppell and all classes are taken by me. I began dancing from a young age, learning tap, ballet, modern and ballroom and in 2015 I launched Dancing with Linda and haven't looked back.
I'm a qualified teacher of Ballroom and Latin American Dancing (Allied Dance Teachers Association), having trained with Margaret Roberts at The Vernon Johnson School of Dance and Drama in Liverpool, where I also had the pleasure of teaching after I qualified.
People regularly ask me what my favourite dance is, and honestly it's difficult to choose because I love them all! Rumba was probably the first dance I fell in love with, and Foxtrot was my nemesis! These days though I absolutely adore the Foxtrot, still love the Rumba, Salsa, Jive, Tango, Bachata, and well , pretty much any dance you could name, including Saturday Night Fever ! Some days I'm a Ballroom girl, and on others I'm a Latin girl.
I firmly believe that dance is within all of us, you just need the right teacher, some fabulous music and enthusiasm. I am immensely proud of the people I've taught over the years from complete beginners to more advanced dancers and welcome adults of all ages, genders and orientation with open arms.

WEDDING FIRST DANCES AND PRIVATE LESSONS
One to one tuition is ideal if you want to get started quickly, have missed lessons and want to catch up or are preparing for that special event.
I also provide tailored choreography for Wedding First Dances for all genders as well as Dad and Daughter Dances and Mum and Son dances, which are becoming increasingly popular too.

Gift vouchers are also a great way of gifting someone a private dance lesson.
It is such a pleasure and a real honour to choreograph Wedding First Dances for so many lovely couples. They really do make me feel like a proud mum.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dance lessons with Linda and what a teacher she is! Her dance skills and knowledge are out of this world and she made us feel so comfortable and welcome. It was lovely to be able to enjoy something together and to escape the stress of the planning. All of our guests enjoyed the surprise and it’s something they and ourselves will never forget. It was definitely worthwhile changing into your wedding dance dress to pull off this routine. You did brilliantly, and here's to many happy years ahead xx
Linda did such a great job helping us to choreograph our favourite dance, 'the waltz' for our wedding. We have been taking classes with Linda for a couple of years and she is patient, enthusiastic and always brings her sense of humour to help us along! We had a fantastic day and thanks to a Linda, also managed to pull off our dance! Highly recommended! Thank you!
